Jessica Cabato

Jessica Cabato grew up in Kitsap County and graduated from Central Kitsap and Olympic College in 2000. She played on the Central Kitsap varsity softball team as a pitcher/1B.  Was named a high school All-American in 2000.  During her high school tenure, Cabato captured a 4th place finish at state as a sophomore, as well as a 3rd place finish as a senior.

Upon completion of high school, Cabato played D1 softball at Bethune Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL.  Here, she won MEAC Conference Championships in 2001 and 2002, as well as played in the NCAA regionals. She Was named 2001 MEAC conference Rookie of the Year, 2001 1st Team All-Conference, was an All- Region Nominee and 2002 2nd team All- Conference.

Cabato's coaching career began immediately after college.   She began as an assistant coach at Bremerton High School for a season.   the following year, she became the pitching coach at Olympic College.   after one year as Pitching Coach for OC, Cabato was named the head coach for the next firve seasons.  Here, Cabato compiled a 110-75 record, accumulating five straight playoff appearances, 3rd and 4th place finishes in 2008 and 2009 at the NWAACC Championship Tournaments and 2009 Olympic College Coach of the Year.

In 2013, Cabato was named Head Coach at South Kitsap.  Here, she accumulated a 2013 State appearance and 2013 All-Narrows League Coach of the Year. In 2015, She left South Kitsap to coach her daughter at Olympic High School, where she was the head coach from 2015-2019. The team made playoff appearances all five seasons with three state tournament appearances.

Cabato has worked with many organizations over the years in different capacities as head coach, assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. She has been the Player Development Coach for the Titans organization for the past four seasons and was recently inducted into the class of 2022 Kitsap Athletic Hall of Fame.

She resides in Port Orchard with her partner, Michael, and her son, Christopher. Her daughter, Kaira, recently returned to the area after graduating from Bethune Cookman University. Cabato spends her time outside of working with the Titans teams providing clinics and lessons to athletes in the community, enjoying time with her family and reading.
